Stunning.

Why did people give so many pomegranades in that other thread?

Either big image, or over use of the song.

Wow, this is very well done!

Probably just because they didn't like the spam of the song everywhere in recent media. I upvoted for the artwork.

For some reason it's popular to hate on everything that's popular.

Something repeatedly crammed down your throat gets annoying after a while.

I'd have no problem with it if it wasn't posted so damn much on my Facebook page, shared to me by friends, having my sister sing it over and over, played on the radio quite often and shown in local car agency commercials.

This song plays on the radio? What part of the country are you in? I couldn't imagine hearing a song that isn't in english on our radio.

His face is hilarious. Plus he's wearing a bowtie; bowties are cool.

This is why I just skim reposts on FB, or tell my friends I've seen X already. That's also a reason I seldom listen to the radio anymore, so I can keep songs fresh and just listen to a favorite CD mix or even my phone. In a funny way, it's only recently the song is really starting to leave an impression on me, probably because of only now realizing how insanely viral it went. Psy never intended his song to leave Korea at all.

I heard it on SiriusXM top 40 this weekend and it's #64 on the Billboard Hot 100 so it'll naturally get airplay.

My sister heard the song on 96.3/WBBM-FM/B-96 aka Chicago's Hit Music Channel. To hear a Korean song on a hit music station in Chicago? Holy crap that's when you know it's no longer a snowball, but an avalanche.

Mexican radio station based in the US, near the border. I've also heard it in other radio station, such as an American Hip-Hop station.

Awesome image. Is it vector?

Also, I do enjoy the song for its parodying abilities, but I don't think I'd ever listen to it on my own randomly. Though, of all the kPop songs out there, THIS ONE had to become popular? There are so much better options...

I dunno. I consider it (style and humor wise) to be the LMFAO of Korea, which I still enjoy listening to this day. Except for Sexy and I Know It. Needed a lot of eye and brain bleach that day I saw the music video.

I guess that makes sense why, though I would like to hear more kPop girl groups becoming popular :c
Don't remind me .... the song is awful.

It's most similar to what's popular over here right now.

SNSD has some exposure here ... not as mainstream as this, though.

I was reading an analysis of Psy's music, it's quite an interesting read. I've never heard such an analysis of LMFAO's music but I highly doubt Party Rock has any kind of serious social critique or message behind it. Just thought I would share, it's a good read. I don't know anything about kpop so I'll leave it at that.

Ooh, that is really interesting to read, its great Big Grin It really adds a deeper meaning to an interesting song.
I ~*learned*~ something today. Thanks!

I am so glad I'm not the only making this type of comparison. I like both Gangnam style and Party Rock Anthem for the same core reason.
