Basically all the characters are controlled by CPUs (the computer/system) while Luigi is being played by a player; just that the player is doing absolutely nothing. The system automatically makes a decision once the countdown is done.

it's when ALL of the players are turned CPU on turn 1, and let it go. some of the pomegranate the AI does is just pineappleing stupid (Wario), and like any other player they'll end up in stuff that's hilarious on its own (Yoshi)



one of my favorite things really lol, the absolute best commentary with this imo is from CheepCheapPlayers (they only did one map, here) and it's a damn shame they don't upload more.

luigi doing nothing with the AI just derping all over the place is more funny to me (sometimes lol, can't beat the classic)
