While I originally went with LeafGreen, I suddenly remembered that I also have SoulSilver. Now I want to try it with SoulSilver... problem is that I have no way to transfer my event Pokemon (Nintendo USB wifi connector does not work on Vista/Win7, no one with a similar or later game around, WPA connection so can't transfer online), and so I'm hesitant about erasing my first file.

I would just go with LeafGreen but SoulSilver has a wider variety for me, so I'm not sure what to do here. Sad Not to mention LeafGreen is much more predictable (I've played through it at least 3 times) and I've only ever gotten halfway with SoulSilver (beat Gold once) so SoulSilver would definitely be a lot more fun to try a Nuzlocke on.

EDIT: Welp, it's been done. Old file is gone. :I

SS is way more fun. I'd give that a spin over LG.

Also, about the Nintendo USB WiFi connector, have you tried getting the latest software?

Quote:Windows 7 users: There is no installation software available for Windows 7, and we cannot guarantee that any of the available versions will work with Windows 7.

And yes, I have for my old crappy Vista laptop. Does not work.

I can connect with my router if it is secured with WEP. Unless you don't have a router then nvm. :/

No one with a DS around here, as well as no similar game or later to transfer with.

I also have no router I can mess with to switch the security from, so that's a no too. That's how I got to connect last time but I moved to a new place and the router is not in here.

You should put flyers everywhere "LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO TRADE POKEMON WITH" or something of the sorts Biggrin

Don't erase your old file. And if you already played through Gold, Silver is pretty much the same, except there are slight pokemon differences. Besides, Karen. Doing a Nuzlocke partially blind will lead to ADVENTURE!

TOO LATE, ALREADY ERASED IT.

And that's exactly why I wanted to do this on SoulSilver, instead of LeafGreen.
