I hate having to rely on Gachapon and NX to get my money.
It's rarely been a problem till now.
I have 60 mill pure mesos. After selling my 86 attack Deadly fin, 71 attack wagner and 6 dex black snowshoes, I'll have about 90 mill HOPEFULLY.
The goal I want to reach is 250mil.
The problem: I've never merchanted in my life. D:
What is the best item to merchant (Khaini)?
I know it's a very open question, just put your personal favorite.
also how long would this operation take?
I can get a shop, so that's not a problem.

The general idea is to buy something that you can sell for more. Any scrolls you find underpriced, that you can sell for a decent price, sell easily, and still make a profit are good. I used to go through every fm, learn the priced, and buy the stuff that was cheap. Even if you just make a few hundred thousand meso profit, it adds up. Definatly get some kind of shop.

Use MTS to convert all that money into NX. Then buy 2 sets of event tickets from the CS. (1.8K each set of 5), and at 10pm the next day, buy a 2x drop card, and go in, 6 times before midnight (one set of CS Tickets + Free ticket from Naomi) and 6 times after midnight. If you get around 60 each time you go in, (as a mage, I get 75, so it should be easy for you to get 60), it should take you 50 times, or eight nights to get a gen 30 book.
Exponential profits. xD
Generally, the best item to use for NX conversion is Glove Atk, because it sells quickly. Put it in for the appropriate price and you should have it sold by the next day. And now because of Pirates, they've inflated back to original price, so it should be quite easy to get 4100 NX for two nights.

That is pretty damn genius but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to pull that off. My shadower is basically empty of all items so I'd have to use noob equips =/= 60 per time I go in D:

Around this time it's probably good to merchant scrolls that have something to do with pirates. Not Gun and Knuckle, but Overall DEX/STR, Earrings DEX, Shoes jump, etc. You can probably find some low and sell for a lot higher.
Buy low, Sell high.

The more you scour the FM the more potential profit.
Scrolling wise/ Items summoning rocks are decent as are tower scrolls.
Merchanting is more of a "chump change adds up" attitude than a "SCROLL DEM SCGs"
EDIT: ALso buying smart helps.
Like if you can still find real cheap PACs and Taos from the Chest event buy them.

I have 4 PACs and 6 Taos, Just waiting til about Feb. to sell them.

Start now, as soon as possible; the sooner the better. Of course, if you can't get 60, try getting 50. Even with 50, it should take you only a few more nights. At most, it should take you 2 weeks, which should get you a book before the event ends.
Of course, the more nights you do it for, the lower your profits, but it should be profit no matter how long you do it for (according to my calculation) unless the Gen 30 books deflated again. (which it shouldn't be deflating past the price it costs to obtain one)

Harrison, haste doesnt work in there D: and... yeah. I always got less with a shadower than bowmaster just because they dont really have any skills =X There's always the use taunt method I heard to boost your scores... Taunt + 2x drop = hax drop rate? lol

You should be faster on the climbing too cuz when you're going up the ladder you can use assaulter to get another one before jumping up the rope.
And yea, haste doesn't work there. I totally forgot. Haven't been in in a while. Still though, even getting 50 per run, that's at most 10 days. 40 per run, 13 days, 30 per run (LOL if you're getting this low a number w/ 2x drop), 17 days. The event lasts for 20 more days... (from the time of this post)
