HP-washing without INT? - KajitiSouls - 2008-11-20 While doing some work on my ever-growing LOLPALLY guide, I think I just stumbled on something rather crazy... The data assembled below has the following assumptions:
(please excuse the HP numbers in the upper right part of the table, as they include the avg HP bonus from advancement when this obviously can't happen until the advancement itself)
HP per level
Of course, there's the problem of lvling a Beginner, but other than that, this is suggesting that you can HP-wash to much greater effect without having to resort to costly INT equipment. Is this all true, and that I'm not deceiving myself somehow? HP-washing without INT? - Nikkey - 2008-11-20 lol, I'd consider this idea as "old". I wouldn't really bother, anyway. There's not much point of having max hp as a paladin. Trust me. HP-washing without INT? - KajitiSouls - 2008-11-20 Nah I don't plan on restarting, and I'm an NX-less hoe anyways (other than the event prize). My only interest in having max HP is to test the limits of the game =P HP-washing without INT? - Nikkey - 2008-11-20 KajitiSouls Wrote:Nah I don't plan on restarting, and I'm an NX-less hoe anyways (other than the event prize). HP-washing without INT? - Stereo - 2008-11-20 If I'm counting right, you use 12 extra washes at the extreme case (level 20). Cost of 12 washes (bera mts:nx) = ~120mil You can get pretty decent int gear for that price and won't be lacking the 600 hp you have to wash just to catch up >_< I guess it's better if you're gonna be spending a ton on washing anyway. I'd be more interested in seeing a study of how much int gear is necessary to max your HP by 200, depending what your hp&mp&level is. I worked out the formula already and have it in my guide. As for the actual INT options from equips, I did not do anything of that sort. The formula is in the last CODE box in case you're lazy to read how to derive such a formula. Guide for the Page, White Knight, and Paladin Wrote: HP-washing without INT? - Stereo - 2008-11-20 Hmm, only need 44 int at current level (123), better than I thought I guess I should invest in some cheap cape+earrings+overall. At level 10 my swordman(page) had only 103 MP so I'm not sure that anyone outside of beta started with 50. I've had it since Bera opened. :x I believe beginners gain 11 on average, so 103-99 = ~4 to start. You might also consider doing a prewash if you're that concerned about HP: Hit 35 str. Dump the rest into MP. As a beginner you gain 8~10 per AP? Anyway it's definitely higher than a Warrior's. So when you reset those, you are getting an extra 4-6 mp per time. If you do this 12 times (same #washes as your 20 beginner needs to catch up in hp) you have an extra 60 mp, for 780 potential hp gain. I'd say this is definitely better than leveling a beginner
HP-washing without INT? - modular - 2008-11-22 Stereo Wrote: in fact, you could level your beginner to 12 without actually losing out on anything since you need 5 points in hp recovery to make hpmax increase accessible. assuming a 35/4/4/4 build, you could dump 38 ap into mp before losing any hp. for a much higher hp gain. but itd be expensive, since you have to wash those 38 ap twice to get any benefit to hp. |
