Explorer's Critical Ring vs. Legendary Gratias Ring - CrazyForDex - 2012-03-24
Hey all,
I'm a 196 bowmaster with 63% base crit (these are with the Explorer Crit Ring), 84% when buffed. I have 999 base dex and 9295 base hp (15,270 hp buffed)
I am wondering which of these two rings is better for me:
Explorer Critical Ring:
+180 hp
+2 atk
-10% crit
-chance of instant death
Legendary Gratias Ring:
-6 all stat
-3 attack
-5% crit
+20 acc/avoid
Idk how much % or + hp the Legendary Gratias Ring gives, but it gives 150 hp.

This is what I was wondering. I can see where the extra 5% crit would help me a lot, but the 6 all stat and the extra attack could be a nice boost o.o

I'm no math wiz so I really couldn't tell you, but I would guess if you have over 80% critical the all stat/attack would be more beneficial.

I'd go for critical, The atk boost isn't that much of a diff.

The instant death alone makes the Critical more worth it, specially when killing mobs with high HP like ToT. At least for my lower level that is.

This and because you're a bowmaster, you have more chance of unlocking instant death due to hurricane.
HOWEVER, if you are freaking godly, then go for the other ring.

Of course, but the other ring has 10% crit as well.
It's just a matter of opinion whether he would want to take either one of them.
Both has their pros and cons.

No it isn't. One of them is straight up better DPS than the other and it depends completely on individual stats. It just takes some calculations that no one here has provided yet.

since i don't want to calculate it either, i'll just leave the formulas.

anything that has % you use the decimals, so if 55% crit rate, use 0.55, max crit would be 150%+SE% if you're counting that, and so on.

crit ring would only be worse if you go over 100% crit
unless of course, you have like... 20 att. total.
