lvl 200 BAM, my staff has 9% Matk, 8%/8% crit rate ...
I'd like to know if I should keep it and scroll something else or try to go for boss damage (preferrably 30+20). I don't train anymore and lead a guild that likes to do boss runs. Is even 20% boss more beneficial than my current staff?

16% crit would be... what? assumming 150~150% damage from crits...
8% more damage, with 9% more from total damage on top, but afaik dark shock is a guaranteed critical pretty much no?
i'd say getting 30% boss would be much more beneficial, with 20% being maybe not worth the cost, but still beneficial.

I would recube. BaMs already have a pretty high base critical so adding 16% more wouldn't really as noticeable as it would be on some other classes I would think.
30% Boss would be much more beneficial imo.

Adding 16% crit assuming 150%~150% would be a 7,8% increased if you had no other sources of crit rate and 6,4% increase if you had 50% crit rate before. Having more crit rate doesn't reduce that much the gains from adding more.
%Boss is still obviously better, it's just a question of whether you want to spend more money on cubes for it.

thanks for the advice guys, i recubed a few more times and landed 30% boss / 15% ITD / 6% Magic Attack and i'm stopping there til I can afford to try again... lol
