Can someone recommend a good MMORPG? - Derimed - 2008-11-14 My gf and I both quit Maple, esp because of their action against SP.net. I have my hands full, and she's also got stuff to do, but playing Maple gave us both something to do together, so we'd like an alternative. Can someone recommend a game that's accessible from Europe and America, which has fairly large text, (as in Maple,) fairly large sprites and which is reasonable on the wallet? And, one which doesn't suck. I thank you in advance for your help. Guild Wars is free once you buy the game itself... Most of the items in the game like shop permits, pets, and some cosmetic clothing can be bought with in game currency. The only thing I seen in their cash-shop for purchase was clothing. [COLOR="RoyalBlue"]Only one pet can be bought with Ely and it sucks. The Fashion Shop is fairly reasonable. Outfits are permanent and cost usually at most 5 ~ 10$ for a set. They can be resold to the game for like... 1/4th the cost and (later in the future) you can buy other items with the points. You can buy a large variety of items from the Fashion Shop.
As for fun, It's relative, but I'm enjoying my time on it. It's only been ... 2 months? Since it was released, and the company seems to be doing fairly well. PVP seems to be fun judging by videos. As for text... In Japanese Unicode (horrible)

In English Unicode (better)

Can someone recommend a good MMORPG? - Kawasari Mimoto - 2008-11-15 Phantasy Star Online. Was always one of my favorite MMOs, there are private servers for it since the actual thing closed down. It's a really fun MMO. You can make your own emoticons and everything, and there are a lot of customizing options, not as much as Perfect World's though. x.x Can someone recommend a good MMORPG? - belovedblood - 2008-11-18 Quantact Wrote:Thanks guys!
