This whole notice seems like a big, "pineapple you" from Nexon. How about updating your own security huh? Any idea what they can do to Nexon if they get enough complaints against it? This seems like the best thing we can do at the moment to complain at Nexon if they really are seriously partaking in this "alliance." If Nexon is misrepresenting them or what they stand for the best they can do is remove Nexon from their membership, or require Nexon to prove they're truly upholding the standards of the Council. If Nexon doesn't really care they'd just accept the disbarment and keep on as usual. If they actually felt it mattered somehow they'd do whatever it took to keep their standing. I'm sure "this time" will end real soon now, and they will catch up and reach your ticket. Gamer Safety Week: Tips for Protecting Your Account - Sarah - 2012-02-06 I've had a ticket open for about 7 months. So... Gamer Safety Week: Tips for Protecting Your Account - Kalovale - 2012-02-06 > Report suspicious activity Holy cow, really Nexon? (although I don't mean to say you personally/specifically are in fact a duper) Gamer Safety Week: Tips for Protecting Your Account - SaptaZapta - 2012-02-06 Suspicious activity? You mean like characters logging in from an IP they've never used before, going in MTS, and using exactly all their NX to buy a single arrow, the easiest in-game item to obtain, that was coincidentally listed shortly after they entered MTS? Nope, not suspicious at all. Dozens of characters do this every day. Nexon has the MTS logs to prove it. Must be some kind of fad. Do they have an E-mail contact? As much as I would love to complain, I'd rather not have to pick up a phone/use snail mail/fax. |
