Considering they didn't remove it like everyone else was expecting, I assume it has some sort of use now? Does anyone know of a video with it in action?

Nope.
Still completely useless.
It's kinda the only mobbing skill in 3rd job, but it's still a piece of crap.

It's stronger than tornado upper at level 1 i think, other than that except for range energy blast is always better and range isn't much of an advantage since you're zipping around the map with spirals anyway. Only use i can think of would be for vertical range, but you can jump cast blast to get that too.

Eh, that's kind of disappointing, I hate how they took out a lot of useful skills and left this one in :l

Fixed.
MP is not a concern.
Always had positive MP pot gain while grinding.
