Playing Maple Without 3D acceleration? - FallenMemory - 2008-11-09
I have a extremely old graphics card on a LAPTOP, and the card's hardware does not support 3D acceleration. I have Direct X installed on he laptop but when maple starts up i get a GR2D Error. Anyways i could get Maple to work on this laptop?
The Card is a Neomagic Magicgraph 256ZX.

Yikes...that is an old and obscure graphics chipset
It's on an old IBM thinkpad right?
Anyway, after doing some research, it seems this card's drivers suck, and it really can't support hardware 3D, just like you said. Lots of people had issues with it.
I think you're kinda out of luck (even if you got it to work, it'll most likely lag bad)

yea, ok. I was just wondering if I could bypass that req. or something, but I guess I'm out of luck. And yes it was a old IBM thinkpad 600X.
