pretty sure the cap or whatever it was only worked with scrolls, not enhances, enhances can still go over the 255 cap.

Yeah, that explains the ST.
596 + slate then scrolled = 255.
596 + EE = 608.

Same with the Ludibrium cape. If you scroll it the accuracy drops from 420 to 255.
