Epic Rarity/Red background - Razmos - 2011-12-17
So these items in the Legend shop labelled as "Epic" with the red background, does it simply signify it being a better item or does it affect potential (i am aware of certain items which always have epic potential)
Because out of the 3 items i bought (level 80 Cannon, Level 80 Dagger and level 110 Staff) one (the staff) was epic on reveal while the other 2 were merely rare.
Any insight as to the connection between the Epic label and Epic potential? thanks.

The epic label has nothing to do with the epic potential tier, Wild Wolf Bandanas and Ravana Helmets does not go Epic more often than other items. The Legend shop items do have a higher chance to come out epic though.

All level 110 items from the shop are epic on reveal.
This has nothing to do with the "epic item" thing however.
