inb4 ChinaMS cuts all cash shop items prices down to a point where the advantage you receive in game is a ludicrous one to promote buying more. (slashed cube prices down to 30% of original cost and add 5 and 6 tiers exclusive potential ranks!)

Drop in profit is not the same as losing money. Also it was mentioned "these results signify the company's latest "strategic decisions" that were put into effect to keep it growing steadily in the long-term." So they spent a bunch of money on something resulting in lower profits. Note that net revenue was up.
It's not the best news for ChinaMS but it looks like it's hardly worth worrying about.

No, not even close. They lost a little bit of profit, so what. Things increase over the years of using them such servers, service, employees, etc they're probably making around the same amount of profits it's just the cost for things increased is all. This isn't really anything to even care about.
