Thanksgiving in MapleStory
Ah, Thanksgiving. A time to celebrate the harvest, express gratitude for the blessings of the past year, and of course, turn all those leftover JackOLanterns into delicious pumpkin pie!
Just as everyone has their own Thanksgiving traditions, the same is true in MapleStory. Besides the wild turkeys running around and dropping special treats, how do you observe this holiday in Maple World?
Show us! Here are the requirements:
- Take a screenshot of you and your friends celebrating Thanksgiving in Maple World. Feel free to use/include anything in the game that you feel best represents this holiday.
- Submit your screenshot through web submission by clicking here between November 10 and 24.
- Please note that screenshots must not be altered and your in-game name must be clearly displayed for your entry to be considered.
- Only one entry per participant will be accepted.
The five screenshots that we feel best represent Thanksgiving in Maple World will receive 5,000 Maple Points each!

How about any other newbie/lowbie that can't hit the bloody things. Then they start looking around for someone about six or seven times the level of the mob for a bit of help to genocide the bloody things.

* 11.16.2011 11.30.2011
* Requirement: Lv.13 or higher
* The Thanksgiving event notification will appear through the star icon on the left side of the screen.
* You dont need to accept the quest in order to hunt turkeys.
* Turkeys can drop a variety of restorative items and scrolls.
* Turkeys will occasionally appear in the following areas:
Golems Temple
Mushroom Castle Castle Walls
around Korean Folk Town
Minar Forest

So they have a chane to drop something okay this time...unless it's def scrolls or 10% scrolls. -_-
