Dear Maplers,

We will be performing a scheduled server maintenance on October 27, 2011 to update MapleStory to v.102 - Rise of Fellowship. The maintenance will last approximately eight hours. During this period, all game servers will be unavailable.

  • Gachapon upddate: new Gachapon Grand Prize, new Chair King chair, Bunny Buddy Buggy
  • Cash Shop update: Monster Familiar Starter and Booster Packs, Chair Gachapon bundles, Echo Megaphone, new transformation items, new special discount packages and items for first time buyers

I kinda think that if they were gonna just do a filler patch, they might as well have just left Jump as 3 parts instead.

That way we'd have had more time for that, and they could go straight from Jump to Legend, but oh well.

Gotta have highs and lows, wouldn't wanna push our expectations for content too high~

Gotta have filler patch around this time of the year or parents will uninstall maple for kids not wanting to miss another TT medal.

Partly, they still drop from the monsters. Friggin nexon went through with it and made them all timelimited too. *Insert appropriate picture of raging madman*

It makes sense now, though. We have Time limited CS items whereas other regions don't. The Familiar cards are just following suit. (I still dislike it, mind you.)

That maintenance time is ridiculous. Starts just before i finish work and lasts all night, fantastic! looks like i wont be able to play until friday >_> (though thankfully, i have the day off on friday)

They probably intended to but weren't ready.
Event end date being the 26th, plus that vague "this week" in the earlier notice, both hint in that direction.
