I've asked this before, but never really got a straight answer. Are they just there to look pretty or can you actually get something out of having one?

The two main attractions about androids are that the hearts can be scrolled with any scroll and that they can be dressed up in NX fashion. The hearts last for 2 weeks, but if you use cheap attack scrolls it aint much of a loss.

If memory serves, I saw a showoff smega of a 27 attack gold heart (3 slots plus 2 hammered slots).
Of course only those with a somehow limitless supply of scrolls would attempt such a thing on an item that only lasts two weeks.

I saw one a smega of those that was also cubed to Unique with pretty good stats.

Or are just too stupid to notice that it says "Time limit extension is not possible." and scrolled/cubed the heart before attempting to use an Hourglass on it before realizing that you can't, then realizing they just wasted a large amount of money.
