Sticking to ladders sometimes - Stereo - 2011-10-13
Describe the problem. Be as specific as possible!:
Sometimes when I log on a character, the 'climb a ladder' function is jammed on - other ways the up arrow is used aren't affected - for example, I still have to press 'up' to go through portals. I can still navigate menus with the arrows. But whenever I pass a rope, it acts like I wanted to climb it.
Doesn't happen every time I log on but when it does it's pretty annoying.

I tried with a couple keyboards, and like I said it's just ladders/ropes, nothing else that uses the up arrow.

Try talking to an NPC with multiple dialogue options; See if it continuously goes up. Though it sounds like you may have tested this already.

When I talk to an NPC, it stops, even after the dialog is closed - until I click somewhere on the screen - then it starts climbing the rope again. Kinda weird.

I managed to get it to happen in the Snowman boss map earlier. I tried climbing at the very bottom of the ladder that leads to the portal, and it would stop on the same spot every time. I'm not sure if this is the same as what you're describing, but I figured that I'd might as well report another possible instance of the bug occurring.
