While keeping your account secure isnt a game, it makes your experience playing our games that much better. Do your part to keep your account secure by participating in the Voluntary Password Change Campaign!

What: Voluntary Password Change Campaign

When: Starting September 6, 2011

We hope that all of our players will take the initiative to update their account information regularly.

Additionally, here are some quick tips for maximizing your account security:

Change your password regularly. Passwords should be updated at least once every three months.
Set up Security Questions or verify your account with Facebook on the Account Settings page.

Well well, looks like my thoughts are already expressed in previous posts. Now, I must say, this has been a repeat of history again, Nexon screws up, blame their players, introduce a new security system, then a GM gets hacked... so which GM will get hacked this year and when I wonder?

Also, if its voluntary, what's the point of making a notice for it? And why would it have a start date? They make it sound like we're JUST able to do it now.

And they want us to verify our accounts with facebook? Wasn't the rumors going around suggesting that that was one of the reasons people were getting hacked to begin with?

Unrelated to Nexon's campaign, I tried to reset my password today and was unable to complete the process. I click the link sent to my e-mail, try to enter a new password and am told there was an error, to refresh the page and try again. Doing so then results in an error saying that the e-mail link is not valid(forget exact wording).

So I wouldn't try to reset your password right now, but then again maybe it is just an issue on my end.

i tried changing my password yesterday but it said it needs my birthday and stuff to change my EMAIL so i just left it.
