A pencils question. - Katforks - 2011-08-25

This seemed like it would go in Open Canvas, if it goes elsewhere whoops.
So I recently dug out my Prismacolors for something I was doing but forgot that they're brittle as hell when it comes to sharpening. I really really like them, and would rather not switch to another kind of colored pencil, but the sharpeners I have always break the leads. So I'm looking for
-a sharpener that won't eat the pencils
or
-another kind/brand of colored pencil that works as nicely as they do that won't break when I sharpen them. Else I'm just gonna invest in a pocketknife to sharpen them and see how that works. >:|
also looking for a kind of paper that won't bleed my ink when I try to ink a pencil drawing, though I think I can manage that with a few hours wandering around the art shop but if there's any recommendations that's cool too.
