Segment Removed

The reason why is because I have a friend who lend my items
(who I've known for a year and lives pretty close to where I live) wich was: My 12% str Shoes,
15% str earings, 8 att 3% str gloves, 3% Str belt, second Lv 17 ring, And my 142 att Heavenly messenger.
(This was yesterday)

Today he came up to me and said he could barely sleep because he felt really guilty about something.
So he said we should meet in FM. And he told he lost all my items except for my Heavenly Messenger.
I was obviously pissed as hell because I thought he scammed me... He gave my weapon back right
away together with his own Lv 10 ring. I asked what the hell happend..
And he said that this guy called Name Removed traded him and asked him why he was hitting so much at Lv
80. He said he was using my items, so this Name Removed asked him if he could show his items to him.
So he put up all his items except for the Heavenly messenger and auto traded? This seems very hard to
believe and Name Removed sounds really familiar somewhere so... I'm kinda lost on what to do.

ALSO because besides losing those items I was hacked during the night he lend my items (Wich was actually
a good thing or else I would have lost my Heavenly Messenger)
So my question is... Does anyone know this person in question? And has there been any sign of a trade hack?
How the hell did I get hacked last night (I NEVER go to phising sites/give info etc) My 6 characters are all
stripped and all I have left is my Weapon.... I feel like crap because I finally managed to get some good items
after I've been freaking unlucky for a while...

And please don't go flaming on me about how I shouldnt have lend out my items. I know I shouldnt have
done that. I feel bad enough already about losing everything else I had because of being hacked T_T
All my 6 characters were completely stripped besides my reverse items. They even bought scissors with
my left over NX wich I bought through MTS to take my HTP/CZAK/6% Str scar.

I'm sorry but it's extremely unlikely, the real kicker is all of your characters were hacked, and none of them had correlation to you losing the first batch of items. There's no way he could get that information through a trade hack, as a trade hack would simply be a forced command. It sounds like your friend got keylogged, assuming he had information to your other characters, or just flat out hacked you.

Did you link MS Adventures on FB to your main accnt on GMS?

If you did, that could be how you got hacked. Seen plenty of people getting hacked from doing such a thing.

No no the person who I lend my items to had knew nothing about my info. Neither was I assuming this Name Removed person hacked me.The hacking my account was just a coincidence that happend in between. I never thought my friend or Jay hacked me. Like you said theres no way
someone could get it through a trade hack. And also he traded my friend not me so even if he COULD get info through trading.. He would have all his
stuff and not mine.

I did link my MS account with Facebook but I heard from alot of friends they were being hacked without being linked.
So I doubt its because of facebook.. I think its something else and that everyone is assuming its facebook.

The frequency of "safe" people being hacked has become uncomfortably high =/.
Edit: People are saying this is directly do to the Facebook linking, but until I see some proof that could very easily be false cause.

Here's a good way for proof; link MS Adv to your main accnt. Wait up to 1-3 days. Report back here on what happens.

However, I think that's a very bad idea and nobody here should even attempt doing such a thing unless it's a mule account.

Whatever it is, there is no reason to not change your password right now. Its an unnecessary risk. Use KeePass to generate a new one.

I already changed my E-mail. My password and my PIC. So I think i'll be fine for now.

Does your email still exist? I ask this because people use an email made only for their maple account, and those emails that are never used are deleted after a while. If your email was deleted, then hacker can create it again and hack you.

No, you didn't.
Look at your post. See that yellow card in the left corner? That means it was a warning. Warnings are exactly that, warnings that what you did could have received points (and will if you continue). The PM you received also was entitled "Warning" and if you're still not sure go to your profile and look at your Infractions tab and it will show you zero points for the warning.
