Parasite Eve 2 - Sarah - 2011-08-22
Finally, the franchise is united! To celebrate the release of The 3rd Birthday (which turned out to be terrible canonically but an awesome third person shooter) Square-Enix pushed Parasite Eve to the PSN back in March. Fans and new players alike have been begging for the release of Parasite Eve 2 and finally it will happen.
Tomorrow evening, August 23rd (from my experience, after 9:00 PM EST) Parasite Eve 2 will hit the PSN. Most games tend to cost $5.99 so I would bet on that, but it could go as high as $9.99, though that's mostly for huge Final Fantasy games.
Anyone with a PSN account, I highly recommend picking this up. It's not quite as good as the first because it's less medically related, but it's still an awesome game.
Also I might as will pimp out Breath of Fire IV here which hit the PSN last week. Awesome old school RPG with a fun fishing mini-game and amazing soundtrack. That one IS only $5.99

Heh, mitochondria and mutated animals swarming the land, trying to kill you at every moment.
The third birthday somehow failed to incorporate the creepiness of the old games. Shame I don't have any way of buying anything on PSN though.
Parasite Eve 2 - Justin - 2011-08-24
I didn't find Parasite Eve 2 nearly as enjoyable as 1, seemed more rushed. Third birthday was okay, even though the plot-line was confusing as all fucking hell.
Could just be my nostalgia talking though.
