Dear Maplers,

We will be performing a scheduled server maintenance beginning on August 17, 2011. The maintenance will last approximately 6 hours. During this period, all game servers will be unavailable. Name changes and world transfers will be processed during this maintenance.

Yeah, they normally tell us if they're perma (build up the hype). For example, the Back to School sale has "permanent decorative equipment," but this just has "Pet Equips with Weapon and Magic ATT," so I think no go on the perma.
