Mujer encarcelada por matar a su ex-marido en un mundo virtual
Los hechos sucedieron en el MMORPG Maple Story.
''A 43-year-old japanese woman has starred one of the most singular succeses of the year in the MMORPG genre. In the first place, the husband of the woman in real life, also married in-game, divorced in the Maple Story game, breaking the love relationship.
The problem is that the digital divorce came by surprise and with no previous warning, fact that unleashed the fury if the woman, who decided to make justice by her self hand and got into her ex-husband account to destroy his character, which the man had put aproximately 2,000 U$D into.
This jealous action granted the woman a legal demand for 'hacking', because she entered a private account without authorization, which could get her a conviction of 5 years in jail or a 5,000 U$D fine, told the Sapporo PD.
''The divorce was unexpected, no previous talk. That got me mad.'', she declared to the authority.''
