Trick Question - Random_Overlord - 2011-07-18

Difficulty: Easy

A train leaves Timber supporting a total of 90 passengers plus the conductor on the route to Dollet. The train then heads to Dollet accumilating 50 more passengers, and then departs to Deling city.

The train then arrives and 90 people exit the train but takes in 20 more passengers, the train then departs and heads towards timber. 69 passengers including the conductor exit the train station since it is now closed for the day.

Who is on the train? Rolleyes

The train is in the train station, how else are the people supposed to leave unless it doesnt go somewhere to close for buisness eventualy? Trains don't go to magical fairy lands or places with puppies or kittens or flying gingerbread people and suddenly say "everyone get off cuz it's cool kk? :B" do they?

Bolded shows passenger count assuming the first "Timber" isn't a person. Given that it's capitalized the first time, but not the second time, it's quite suspicious. I wont ruin it further so here's a funny answer:

Edit: There's also something you should pay attention to in the first sentence... How many people are initially on the train? Think about the wording.

I did consider the wording, but you forgot at the last stop 69 passengers including the conductor, meaning the conductor was an additional variable to the puzzle, left the station at the end of the trip. Leaving 1 person, and the identity of that 1 person is the answer to this riddle.

This is fun by the way. Let's see how long it takes before someone gives the most obvious answer.

Honestly I'm thinking neither. The conductor isn't a passenger technically.
