How to stay invincible in mobs? - Takebacker - 2011-07-07

I want to know how to get the most out of invincibility in mobs. Basically, how do i pin multiple bosses in a corner while minimizing the vulnerable periods? I was thinking bsb on top of them, csb back without pushing them (i don't know if they won't be moved), barrage and repeat. If somone could test if the CSB wouldn't push in that situation i'd be grateful.

Also barrage jump back csb won't work very well because the other boss might break free.

Takebacker asking for help about control?!?!?!?!?

*checks thermometer* No, hell hasn't frozen over...

*leans head out window* No, I don't hear an obese woman singing, even though I do live in america... *cough*

*stares into the sky* No, pigs aren't flying.

WHAT HAS THE WORLD COME TO!??!?!?

It would appear to me that your workplace efficiency is substandard to what it could be. What phone do you have?

Well it's either i stare at the screen while the updates/imaging takes place (which takes, like 10 minutes at a time?) or i do other stuff to pre-occupy myself. Can't start working on a new computer since it needs wired internet to actually make progress.

I have an iPhone. O_o

You're generalizing. The 3GS is only $50 now...

Nice discussion this turned into.

In any case... Using invulnerability frames in mobs doesn't seem to exist as an ability anymore. There's simply not enough time left on Screw Punch to keep yourself untouched. You could keep doing Screw Punch → Barrage, but that's just about it. Even that has its faults. I've tried using Back Elbow, but unless you stay clear of all mobs to avoid touch damage or magic damage when you cast it, you'll get hit.

Ikr.

I feel like if it did things would be so much easier. You can do barr -> jump back -> CSB and remain untouched (the residual iframes on barr keeps you untouchable on the jump so you don't take touch unless it's a big target), but there are escape issues like i said. I can't do barr -> csb backwards because that would kill people. The only way i see how is to do BSB -> CSB but if i can do BSB -> turn around -> CSB and push the mob i don't see why the mob wouldn't be pushed if i did BSB -> CSB, making it not worth using.
