What will it protect you from? Will it protect you from getting tracking cookies, keyloggers, and stuff like that?

As far as I know, all it does is not save page-visit information in history nor send it to Google for mysterious purposes. You still get cookies.

This is what it says when you open incognito mode:

So you don't keep the cookies. However, I'm wondering about the third item on the list. Does it mean you don't get keyloggers only if you don't download things?

Incognito mode gives higher security than normal mode but it's still no replacement for common sense
