Graphic Corruption At Zakum - GameMX - 2008-10-17

One of my guildies apparently is having a problem with Maplestory. Whenever he enters Zakum Alter, after Zakum is summoned, he tells us that his User Interface glitches out, and he can't see his character nor anything correct anymore, basically his graphic memory seems to corrupt, and every pixel scatters (if you seen graphic memory corruption before, you'll know what I mean).

This only happens in boss areas basically...

Zakum Alter,
Horntail Cave,
Ergoth's Throne, etc.

Does anyone know what the solution to this issue is?

His computer specs:

Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit Edition
Radeon 9600 / X1050 Series

That should be all that's required, spec wise...

windowed mode? SP1?

Both should possibly fix it.

Eventually, I downgraded to XP to be able to zak and ht.

[COLOR="Indigo"]Did he recently update anything (ie graphics driver)? That could be causing the troubles. If the above poster's suggestions don't fix things, perhaps rolling back the driver would be worth a try.

That is due to supercat's abusive powers.

Something I did while having Vista was changing the graphics up and down:
Ctrl + Down + 2 taps either left or right, depending on the quality (left for currently high quality, right for current low quality)
