Question about Server Transfer - silverquiver - 2008-10-12

I'm starting to think about server transfering to Khaini. Lol, yes I want to join the herd.
I have a few quick questions though:
I am married, so if I transfer worlds what happens to my marriage? Am I just married to a character that resides in another server? Or is it like an automatic divorce?
Since I can only bring 1mill with me, what items would it be wise to carry to the next server?
And, are there any problems that people have come across after transfering to another server? Maybe someone experienced a glitch that has yet to be patched.

Well there's no glitchs I'm aware of.

Apples would be the best to bring.

Before you transfer you MUST have a divorce first. No there are no glitches the only thing that could happen is, the character transfer will be delayed. I'm not sure about the wisest item to bring, because I just started playing Khaini again.

a) You MUST divorce your spouse.
b) Delete friends off buddylist
c) Quit your guild
d) Invest in apples (it'd be nice to know how much it is in each server though. I ended up making a profit because apples were extremely inflated in Bellocan when I transferred over there)
e) Brought along a bunch of other equipment with the rest of my remaining mesos. They were just lying around on my mule.
f) Invest in some scrolls.

Overall it was kind of difficult because Scania has high prices on items, but the transfer itself didn't pose much problem for me.

Here's what I did when I transferred from Windia to Mardia.

I made a mule account on Mardia before the transfer took place. Then with the mule I compared prices of Mardia items to Windia items to see what would make me the most profit.

I'm pretty sure you need to get divorced before you can switch servers.

You should really just check the prices yourself in both servers and find what the best items to move over would be. Sometimes it can be good, or not so. When I moved from windia I spent around 1.4b and came back with 2.8b of stuff. Take your time and make sure you do it properly.

Overall it seems like a big waste of money. I planned on transfering with my wife but I don't want to spend $25, have her spend $25, and then spend another $20 just to get married all over again. I suppose Scania will be my permanent home.
