Mother's Day. - Locked - 2011-05-07

So tomorrow is Mother's Day, Southperry. What are you guys going to do for your mothers? Are you going to give them a present? If so, what is it? If you aren't, what are you going to do?

Giving my mom a call since I don't even live with her right now. That's the best I can do, but better than nothing at all.

Pretty much this. I'll get my sister to make something.

...
I hope that anyone's mothers whom are given something enjoy whatever it is. For me, not a damned thing.

a card and a hug

Gonna write her a letter, give her a present alongside my bros, and taking her to a dinner. :>

I think I'll do this.

Flowers, mochi ice cream, and a hug.

Gonna do our staple gift: card + flowers + 3 course meal.

Middle sibling makes salad + appetizers
I make the main course
Youngest sibling makes dessert

It's always a hit (even if the food isn't great) and it's much much better than taking her out to dinner where restaurants everywhere will be packed and service will be lackluster. Plus we can add THE SECRET INGREDIENT OF LOVE and she's always appreciative of the fuss we make over her. She's always lecturing us about saving money so for her it's great because we get to spend quality time and save a buck while we're at it.

If you have no idea what to do/get for your mother I highly recommend this.

I got her this

I'm gonna give her a hug, tell her I love her and stuff, and she gets to command me to do whatever she wants me to around the house. Cook, clean, etc. >.>
Good thing she'll only ask me to get her a drink or something. Big Grin[/COLOR]

Mother's day always overshadows my birthday. Everyone is always gifted out and I never get any love!

;-;

Watching Thor.

Eh.

I wanted to buy my mom a bouquet of tulips or roses. However, I stopped. Here's why. Last year, I spent near 15-20 bucks buying a bouquet of rose in GREAT condition for her on Mother's Day. She just looked at me and said that I wasted 20 bucks for nothing. I was rather upset over it, that and she called me dumb for doing so. So this year, I guess I won't be buying anything. Not because I'm irritated, but more-so because what she said was a reminded to me. My parents really don't care for birthday, Christmas, or whatever-day gifts anyways. I've tried in the past, they just refuse everything and really don't care.

A bill for all that she owes me with bold letters that says PAYMENT DUE IMMEDIATELY. Perhaps I'll add some interest.

We've all got our reasons.
Sarah and I share one reason.
