FP training at DGP - Splinter - 2008-10-09 Hi guys :] ive recently made an f/p wiz which will be making it to at least 130 and i was wondering about training during mid 70s my idea was to go to DGP *dual ghost pirates* at lv75 and mist like 3-5 channels so that by the time im back at the ch i started on i can kill it and re-mist for quick exp, note ill be using 2x exp for 3k a kill, or 0.11% just wanted to get some opinions also, i wont be going to squids because the black ones are just not worth the trouble and, no1 goes to dgp so alot of chs wud be easy =p FP training at DGP - butterfλi - 2008-10-10 of course the black squids arent worth the trouble. thats why you just ignore them and keep misting. duals just burns a lot of pots with little promise of steelies to make up for it. after the squids gets filled up with nothing but the black ones, go use another two channels. the levels will just fly by anyway and when youre mid 8x, you can do either sharks or skeles. FP training at DGP - Cyanne - 2008-10-10 Duals aren't really worth misting. Depending on your server, you could probably get new squid channels after your first one/two get(s) filled up with black squids. You could also try kents, wolf spiders, etc. until you have the accuracy for skelegons. FP training at DGP - Harrisonized - 2008-10-10 You could try wolf spiders... http://www.southperry.net/forums/showthread.php?t=530 Red Kents make a great alternative as well. You can easily dual channel the red kents. FP training at DGP - JezzaRules - 2008-10-10 As Harrisonised said, Wolf Spiders are a good option coz their drops are pretty much worth it. I also recommend Krus/Captains by standing on top of a mast and use explosion and mist but that area is pretty much full coz of Bowman/Crossbowman as well as F/P and I/L mages training there. FP training at DGP - Cyanne - 2008-10-11 Pirates is a horrible place to train >_> Stick with the good misting spots. If you need money, take it a bit slower, and the drops should cover it. FP training at DGP - fiftyschmooo - 2008-10-13 DT's should still be great exp for ya, even MDT's to a degree if your somewhat lower luk and can hit them enough to kill em, it's where i helpped my friend train till his Myst was maxed FP training at DGP - MissAsh - 2008-10-14 butterfli Wrote:of course the black squids arent worth the trouble. thats why you just ignore them and keep misting. duals just burns a lot of pots with little promise of steelies to make up for it. after the squids gets filled up with nothing but the black ones, go use another two channels. the levels will just fly by anyway and when youre mid 8x, you can do either sharks or skeles. ^ I seriousy agree with this, for 2 reasons. 1. If you max (level 28 minimum) Poison Breath, you can do purple squids from level 72 onward for massive exp. 35%+ an hour, no 2x, which honestly is pretty much faster than any other place you could possibly train at that level. And 2. Once you max Mist, you don't even need to leave squids yet, since it's still pretty decent exp all the way through to mid 80s. (Though I'm not sure is leafre is faster, since my exp of this was pre leafre >.>) I tried DGP, and it's really not worth it. Too much bump damage, too expensive overall, and you're not very likely to make any of that back. Squids are cheap, you rarely even get hit (since there's is a lot of maneuvorability in the map), and they drop glvoe atk along with some other nice things. xD |
