Which class would run through these PQs fastest - NeedaBanana - 2011-04-25
Hunting for belts and glasses. Thoughts on fastest class through the below listed PQs? (my guess in brackets)
Netts Pyramid (Aran)
Chryse (mecha)
Which class would run through these PQs fastest - shouri - 2011-04-25
Netts Pyramid...assuming lvl 60+ mode:
-Corsairs (or 3rd job gunners) using icesplitter+Flamethrower macro
-Aran (best in that they can already pwn it in second job)
-Marksmen (since they can snipe the yeti and take only 1 miss and can freely attack for a while)
-Battle mages (stand in one side using #blow) and advanced dark chain+reaper for reach and more free kills, being wary of yetis though.
-Mech (hold down flame launcher button = win) avoid yetis as your normally would on most other chars of course.

Ice Breath on an Evan is decent (>5000 kills), but the rank and kills you get on Nett's is irrelevant to the reward, is it not?

To note: you can already pwn it in 2nd job, but it's mostly triple swing in 2nd job that kills big numbers due to double swing's bad range.

You can easily pull off a 30 hit combo on the right side mobs and then do V, <, attack to use combo smash from that same spot, and it should reach a good number of the mobs on the left

(the << are the path combo smash takes.)
No:

Edit: Once the yeti's come, you'll need to move from left to right and right to left to avoid the yeti. Combo smash in their direction anyways. You'll only hit them once but clear out more mobs anyways. Misses dont count against you that badly anyways:
Left mobs~~~~~~~~~~~~~right mobs

That is correct. Regardless of who you finish it on (or how quickly) you will always get the same reward room with the 50 boxes. I'm just stating the easier characters to do this on from my own experiences. I dont have 1 of every job (dont plan to), but from my experiences and from seeing my friends try it, these are the ones that'll make it easiest to breeze through.
If you are in it solely for the rewards and not for exp:
Use any character. It'll take you 15(?) minutes regardless of how fast you kill.
The character's I've mentioned almost never risk losing though unless you foolishly spam attacks on the yeti of course. And they also make the PQ much easier.

Problem there would be range. The need to move around a lot and junk. The other classes will have a MUCH easier time. That's not to say it'll be hard on a paly, but other classes will be even easier to use there by comparison. Even if you use rush to move yourself a bit, it's still not as easy as other classes get it.

Or a Mech could do a better job with spammable rush, and they don't need to be 123+ to be effective.

A f/p or i/l with tely mastery would do very well with minimal risk seeing as slow works on the yetis
