#eRULES FOR CHARACTER NAME CHANGE#n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nYOU MAY CHANGE THE NAME OF YOUR CHARACTER(S) IN MAPLESTORY (THE "GAME") SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING RULES AND REGULATIONS:\r\n\r\n\r\n
1. If a character name changes, any item currently in the MTS; Transfer Inventory, or categorized as Not Yet Sold may disappear.\r\n If you are bidding in an auction or registered an item under <Wanted>, the money you have paid in advance will not be refunded. \r\n Please complete all of your transactions in the MTS before initiating a Character Transfer, and remember that any lost item(s) or NX due to user error will not be compensated. \r\n\r\n
2. Characters eligible for rename must be at level 10 or higher.\r\n\r\n
3. Your character will be included in Ranking System after the name change takes effect.\r\n\r\n
4. Naming rules as described Nexon's Terms of Use (See #bTerms of Use#k) will apply to new name change of character.\r\n\r\n
5. Name changes shall be limited to characters only.\r\n\r\n
6. Your items that are tagged will not be changed.\r\n\r\n
7. Name changes will be completed during every server check and/or patch. Server check and patch time may change depending on development schedule. Users should refer to MapleStory's Notices for server check and patch times.\r\n\r\n
8. No marriages within the Game shall be cancelled as a result of a name change to a character.\r\n\r\n
9. All Guild information shall be kept current and will not be altered with character name change.\r\n\r\n
10. No friend's lists will be deleted after the name change.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
LIMITATIONS ON CHANGING CHARACTER NAMES:\r\n\r\n\r\n
1. You will not be allowed to change your character's name if your account records show any ban history longer than 7 days while playing the Game. (i.e.: If one character was banned for longer than 7 days, you will not be able to change names of other characters.)\r\n\r\n If you have any ban history within the past one month, you will not be able to purchase the character name change item.\r\n\r\n
2. Nexon may cancel your request of changing a character's name. In the event your request is cancelled, you will be given a full refund.\r\n\r\n
3. Name changes for characters shall be limited to no more than once per month. In addition, you are limited to submitting no more than one (1) name changes per character at one time.\r\n\r\n
4. Nexon reserves the right to reject any request, in full or in part, and any requested name -- for any reason or no reason -- in its sole discretion. All terms and conditions of the Nexon User Agreement and Software License (EUASL), the Station Terms of Service and the Rules of Conduct found on #e#bwww.nexon.net#k#n continue to apply to any and all accounts with renamed characters. You will not be allowed to rename any character(s) on an account that is not yours and that was not originally registered by you.\r\n\r\n
5. Even if the new name that you choose is acceptable upon completion of the new name request form, it is possible for any reason that the request will not be approved during processing. You will be notified by email if this happens and may be given the opportunity to choose another new name.\r\n\r\n
6. If you wish to rename characters on different accounts, you will need to submit a separate request for each character on that account.\r\n\r\n
7. You will initially be charged NX points (as set forth below) after which time your request shall be approved and processed. No refunds will be permitted once your request is approved and processed, except if set forth herein.\r\n\r\n
8. All approved requests will be processed in due course.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
FEE SCHEDULE\r\n\r\n\r\n
For each character name change- 10,000 NX points\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
CHARACTER NAMING POLICY\r\n\r\n\r\n
The following types of names are inappropriate:.\r\n\r\n
1. Vile, profane, rude, or racist names including common swear words, anatomical references, racial slurs, and homonyms of these words.\r\n\r\n
2. Combinations of words that produce an offensive result (e.g. Hugeaz, Tug Mcgroin).\r\n\r\n
3. Proper names from Nexon (e.g. Wizet). This also includes the first or last name of any significant Nexon NPC (e.g. Icebyrd Slimm, Professor Foxwit).\r\n\r\n
4. Names chosen with the intent or possessed with the effect of harming the reputation of or used to impersonate a Customer or representative of Nexon America.\r\n\r\n

YOU WILL BE ABLE TO TRANSFER TO ANOTHER SERVER IN MAPLESTORY (THE "GAME") SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING RULES AND REGULATIONS: \R\N\R\N\R\N
1. If a character transfers to a different server world, any item currently in the MTS; Transfer Inventory, or categorized as Not Yet Sold may disappear. \r\n If you are bidding in an auction or registered an item under <Wanted>, the money you have paid in advance will not be refunded. \r\n Please complete all of your transactions in MTS before initiating a Character Transfer, and remember that any lost item(s) or NX due to user error will not be compensated. \r\n\r\n
2. To be eligible for transfer you must be at level 20 or higher. \r\n\r\n
3. Your quest history and all quests you have started will be carried over once your transfer to the new server is complete. \r\n\r\n
4. All items (including up to One Million Mesos) will be carried over and transferred with you to the new server. \r\n\r\n
5. Your items that are tagged will not be changed. \r\n\r\n
6. Characters transferred will appear on the ranking of the world transferred but will be tagged as "Immigrant". \r\n\r\n
7. All approved transfers shall be processed in due course and completed during the next server check and patch following the transfer. Server check and patch time may change depending on development schedule. Users should refer to MapleStory's Notices for server check and patch time. \r\n\r\n
LIMITATIONS ON TRANSFERS: \r\n\r\n\r\n
1. Your character(s) may not be transferred to the newest server. \r\n\r\n
2. If married, your character(s) must get annulled prior to transferring worlds. \r\n\r\n
3. If you already have three (3) characters on a server, you may not transfer any more characters to that server. \r\n\r\n
4. When transferring to another world, you will appear on the rankings for that world; however, you will have an "immigrant" tag. \r\n\r\n
5. Transfer of meso currency is limited to no more than One Million Mesos. \r\n\r\n
6. Once a transfer takes place, your guild and friends list will be deleted. \r\n\r\n
7. You will not be allowed to transfer if your account records show any ban history longer than 7 days while playing the Game. \r\n\r\n If you have any ban history within the past one month, you will not be able to purchase the character transfer item. \r\n\r\n
8. Nexon may refuse your request to transfer. In the event your request is cancelled, you will be given a full refund. \r\n\r\n
9. If you are the leader of a Guild, you may not transfer your character until you surrender leadership of the Guild to another player. \r\n\r\n
10. Characters cannot create a guild if they are in process of transferring to another world. \r\n\r\n
11. User cannot delete a character if it's currently going through a transfer. \r\n\r\n
12. User cannot create a new character under the account that has requested a transfer. After the transfer concludes and there is an open character slot free for that world, you may create a new character. \r\n\r\n
13. Transfers shall be limited to no more than once per month. \r\n\r\n
14. Nexon reserves the right to reject any request, in full or in part, of any transfer -- for any reason or no reason -- in its sole discretion.
