In the new KMST patch they removed the party exp bonus, but it also says "monster stats have been adjusted accordingly"... does that mean they just raised the exp on the monsters? or are the HP/EXP ratios back to normal?

Mobs in those areas are no longer LHC-like, not even LHC itself.
You also don't receive the 50% exp per party member bonus.

IMHO, this was an extremely stupid move on Nexons part. The party bonus forced guilds, and friends, and even just random strangers to have fun and train together. I love this feature so much because it makes every class useful and wanted. Why would you want to remove this Nexon? ;~;

They're not exactly saying don't party each other anymore, they're just encourging party training within Monster Park rather than outside.

Which is rather lame. It excludes the concept of exploring the world and just puts you into a training NPC area.
I guess the only advantage is having a centralized place to ask for parties...

Not gonna be surprised if the main reason they removed the party zones was because they reverted the stupid party EXP ratio to 6:4, which, once again, strongly encouraged leeching. Seems to me Nexon doesn't even know wtp they're doing anymore if they're reverting changes that hurt the game more than helped.

Yeah, I heard about the Party EXP ratio reversal. This too seems stupid... I hate leechers. If you want to get to level XXX, then do it on your own or with friends, dont fking buy your way to it!

Incidentally, a lot of people at those party zones were leeching even with the current leech rate. There's herds of AFK mules there with one or two people training at most (alongside an HS mule). Still, there's things they could have done to remedy this problem instead of just remove and revamp the whole idea period (and then throwing it into Monster Park).
I'm under the impression Nexon developers have a severe case of ADHD. They took two steps forward only to take another step backward. Those no sense of rhythm nor rhyme in their game design at all and each update they churn out makes me wonder what direction they're actually looking at.

even at my level the eech was good, and i am level 162 for christ's sake.
with the new ratio, everyone would be going "lolafk" all the time, so yep, way to go with this one nexon.

They just moved the party bonus to monster park. So you'll still have those 50% more exp per member. They just made it better 'cause there's more variety in the park.

Moving the party bonus to the park doesn't only make it better, it invalidates the point of any area that doesn't have it, including LHC which was the premier party bonus area, which makes it stupid as hell. It also doesn't fix the issues the party bonus has to begin with. I don't really like monster park for this reason. >.>

There's less variety overall. This enforces the attitude that if you don't do Monster Park, you don't get good EXP. And with all the bonuses for partying nullified outside of Monster Park, why even bother having new content in Maple to begin with?

Or are they just identical to other level 115-127 mobs?
And yeah, maybe moving all the good exp into Monster Park is the beginning of shrinking maple world. It is way too big, too many maps, too many mobs, huge memory-hog game that takes forever to download, and for what? A dozen training maps and lots and lots of filler? Maybe a small sampling of maps is actually for the best.
