Bigfoot damage - Warrior - 2008-10-08 Today I tried to fight bigfoot with my bow master friend. I was wondering if there was some kind of damage glitch with the monster. On my screen, Bigfoot touched me and did roughly 9 ~ 9.3k but my friend saw 11k on his screen and of course, it instantly killed me in one hit. I was at 0% so I kept testing it and the damage I received was lower than my max HP according to my screen. I had Power Guard along with full HP and my max hp is 9.5k+ with a silver deputy star. So I was wondering if its some glitch where Power Guard doesn't reduce the damage with this monster or something.:f6: Bigfoot damage - Devil - 2008-10-08 Max touch damage from Bigfoot is 12.000 btw. And about Power Guard, since Bigfoot is a Boss monster now, I believe it doesn't block as much damage as it does with "normal" monsters, so you'll have to ask to a warrior how that works...
Bigfoot damage - Fiel - 2008-10-08 boss mobs only have 20% damage reflected with PG. Bigfoot damage - Devil - 2008-10-08 Fiel Wrote:boss mobs only have 20% damage reflected with PG.So, as a warrior with PG, make sure you have 12000-2400=9600 MaxHP (9700+ would be best). Also, don't forget that booster takes 10 HP of your max HP every time you use it!

Is it like, half of the damage that should be reflected? Bigfoot damage - Birdie - 2008-10-08 Devil's Sunrise Wrote:For other levels of PG, is there any difference? To OP, that does look like a glitch. Even if that b4stard did 13k damage, it's still not 11k touch damage to you. 14k on the other hand does break 11k touch damage to you. Bigfoot damage - NoJobNoRules - 2008-10-08 I've always seen PG accurately. That would be odd though... Although the numbers do add up. 11,000x.2=2,200. 11,000-2,200=8,800, and I'm sure it was above 11k that your friend saw. :X Bigfoot damage - Nikkey - 2008-10-08 NoJobNoRules Wrote:I've always seen PG accurately. That would be odd though... You never see PG "accurately", kinda. Get yourself and another person down to pianus. One of you go PG, and tell the other what they see. Do the same for the other person. Trust me, the answers will be different. Bigfoot damage - haha01haha01 - 2008-10-08 i have roughly 11k hp and i still didnt survive a hit from bigfoot. (im testing it over and over every time i lvl up) Bigfoot damage - Bacon - 2008-10-08 I currently have 14k HP, and now whenever I Powerguard Bigfoot, it does about 9k-10k damage to me. The only thing that changed was that Bigfoot got turned into a boss, so Powerguard is only 50% efficient. Bigfoot damage - Warrior - 2008-10-08 I never knew that about PG. That explains why I died. One more level and I can survive I suppose. I just don't understand why it showed me receiving less damage than my max hp. Bigfoot damage - Jirai - 2008-10-08 It's weird though, even when Bigfoot wasn't labeled as a boss, I would use PG and take less damage than I had HP, but I would still die in one hit anyways. That also happened to me. It'll do 7.5k damage when I had 8k HP, and I'll still die. Bigfoot damage - Warrior - 2008-10-10 Just to confirm, it would be best to have 9,700+ HP with power guard to survive a touch and 11,000+ HP without power guard, correct? Bigfoot damage - MysticHLE - 2008-10-10 Sounds like some weapon defense/level factor. <_< |
