They might -look- somehow identical, but that doesn't mean they -are- the same skill. doesn't cool down ruin vipers? - madanthony - 2008-10-08 I don't see the benefit of using regular Transform, limiting yourself to shockwave, once you have a decent level of DS. I'm not missing something here am I?:f6: doesn't cool down ruin vipers? - Alloy - 2008-10-08 Well, you are all missing time leap... It's there for a reason. doesn't cool down ruin vipers? - Devil - 2008-10-08 madanthony Wrote:I don't see the benefit of using regular Transform, limiting yourself to shockwave, once you have a decent level of DS. I'm not missing something here am I?:f6:Well, Dragon Strike (MAXED - Skillbooks anyone? ) is near as powerfull as Shockwave, and you can also use Shockwave in Super Transform mode.So when you max Super Transform and Demolition first (instead of maxing Dragon Strike first and then the ST skills) the "super power" age of a Viper starts at lvl 136, instead of lvl 146... What I want to say is, You need 30 4th job SP's to max Dragon Strike that you also have (Shockwave) with 3rd job Transform, only a tiny bit weaker... Instead of Maxing DS, you can have maxed ST -AND- lvl 10 Demolition -AND- a "time - upgraded - use" of Shockwave at lvl 130. Get it?
doesn't cool down ruin vipers? - Nikkey - 2008-10-08 Well, I like the way the have created the Viper, how the person really needs to use a lot of different skills to be able to attack and train properly. Whereas its advantages is heavy power during super transform, it's disadvantage is that it has a quite unstabile damage. doesn't cool down ruin vipers? - Devil - 2008-10-08 Devil's Sunrise Wrote:Well, I like the way the have created the Viper, how the person really needs to use a lot of different skills to be able to attack and train properly. Did I miss something? ![]() Because last time I checked, a Viper has a Knuckle Mastery of 60%, same as almost every class... :o Edit: Or are you referring to pserver Vipers? Because a lot of pservers don't have Knuckle Mastery for Vipers... Maybe you mean that?

No o,O Isn't it true that the normal attack skills for a Viper is weaker than Transform-skills? doesn't cool down ruin vipers? - Devil - 2008-10-08 Devil's Sunrise Wrote:No o,OHmmmmm that way... Well, yes and no, Fist is weaker then Demolition yes, but Dragon Strike is stronger then Shockwave, however if you have maxed Snatch, that allows Shockwave to perform Criticals... hmmz Well, if you mean that with unstable damage... yeah I suppose you can say that.
doesn't cool down ruin vipers? - Noob - 2008-10-08 IMO the cool down is the only thing i would choose to be a viper, it requids more skill to play your char that way with lots of different skills but ohh wel fu Nexon America for banninb europeans -_-' doesn't cool down ruin vipers? - Worthyness - 2008-10-08 The way a viper/infighter is played takes a great deal of complexity. you don't just spam one skill, you need to use multiple. This makes the infighter, as well as their guslinger counterparts, very strategic characters. Hopefully this no spammage of attacks can get rid of some of the noobs that want to be the next pirate lord... doesn't cool down ruin vipers? - Loose - 2008-10-08 Sounds like Chief Bandits, with their Band of Thieves, Savage Blow, Assaulter and the occasional Meso Explosion. And adding to that during 4th job, Boomerang Step and maybe Assassinate and Taunt. Can't wait for this class. doesn't cool down ruin vipers? - Russt - 2008-10-08 Worthyness Wrote:The way a viper/infighter is played takes a great deal of complexity. you don't just spam one skill, you need to use multiple. Spoiler
Looks a lot like skill spamming to me, only you're spamming 2-3 skills in sequence instead of only one
doesn't cool down ruin vipers? - Worthyness - 2008-10-08 Bah. shot down again... Sure any class can spam an attack. It's the fact that you need to utilize many of the infighter's techniques to do some awesome® damage. some people are too lazy to stun, then proceed to hit again. Some would prefer to kill kill kill and not need to stop, turn stun turn attack, charge, or anything of the sort. But this is me and no experience, so i can't really say anything. I'll enjoy it nonetheless even with the idiots and teir "lol wat u damage?". I get that all the time on my ranger and my cousin's NL... Maybe the infighter's inability to excessively ks someone out because of their "cool downs" will keep people with the dexless sin fad... we'll never know until they come out and we have massive ks wars. |
