Credit cards - rethic - 2011-04-11
With so many credit card companies to choose from, how do you know which one is right for me? Since so many exist, obviously there can't be one that is completely superior to the rest. When choosing a credit card, will there actually be a better choice among them, or are they all pretty much the same?

It's good to choose a card that most retailers accept. I would use Google to compare different cards to see what's best for you.

Try talking to someone at the bank you use, regardless of what you decided becareful. Managing your credit is important!

i just went with the lowest rate card i could find. it's gonna vary depending on your credit and what kind of credit plan you get. but for your first card that's a pretty good way to go, especially considering if it's your first card you probably don't have a substantial source of income so you're not going to be able to pay off very much at a time, so it keeps the interest you'll be paying on whatever you charged down saving you money. and i definitely recommend only putting as much on the card as you can afford when your bill comes in, at least for a little while. it's a reliable way to build credit, plus gets you comfortable with the whole system. just don't go out and buy a bunch of furniture, a tv, xbox, etc, with your card, expecting to pay it all back later because you will get screwed on the interest rate. credit card companies are obligated to put how long it'll take to pay off your balance if you only pay the minimum payment somewhere on the bill and how much you'll be paying in interest, so whatever you go with, don't get fucked.
