So, as I'm just finishing up this essay I remember something that has been happening to me with the professor that gave me this assignment.
This prof. seems to "freak out" whenever I look at her. Now I know staring is creepy, but I can't even glance at her, much less make eye contact. Whenever I make some eye contact with her I can see she starts losing her train of thought and quickly evades my gaze. Which is funny the first or second time, but it quickly gets old when you feel forced to look at ~nothing~ or read the same power point slide over and over again even when she is explaining stuff.
Now this has happened with a few other people too, but I'm just surprised to see her, an experienced professor, react like that. I feel like... I don't even know how to describe it.
I mean, I'm hoping it's not because I'm that ugly... I mean... yeah, I'm not *insertgoodlookingcelebrity*, but at least I've been told I'm handsome... like three times... two of which might have been said by my mother...
Have you SPeople experienced this kind of stuff? Also... might it be that I'm just creepy even outside the internet? This pomegranate is starting to pineapple my psych, makes me wary of where to look and stuff. D:<

I've never experienced someone being creeped out by making eye-contact. That sounds really odd.

You just might have those bedroom eyes. I've seen some guys with those same eyes. I avoid eye contact as well. It's not creepy but it can be a bit uncomfortable.

I think the fact that you noticed this is reason enough for her to look away. If she noticed that you're constantly staring at her then there's a pretty good chance that she's at least a little creeped out by you. Eye contact only needs to be kept during a conversation. If you're just sitting there trying to stare into her eyes then it's no wonder she's looking away.
I used to keep eye contact at all times with anyone during a conversation because it's a sign of interest in what the person is saying. But I ran into an issue where really lonely/desperate/psychotic/etc. people would take that eye contact as something more, so I've sort of broken that habit. You can accomplish the same show of interest by nodding/saying 'yeah' when appropriate, asking questions and not fiddling with other things. Not saying to avoid eye contact completely, but it definitely should be broken every few moments.
But yeah, it really sounds like you're just being kind of creepy from what you've written. Staring at people is not cool. However, if someone catches you staring at them, you should make a funny face. Results won't be any worse than if they just caught you staring at them and can even turn out better because laughter is good for the soul. People who make funny faces are the best kind of people.

I can't make eye contact with people, no matter what.
Its annoying in interviews and stuff, they look you right in the eye and.. i just cant do it, i just stare at the desk, or look around the room, which makes it look like i'm not interested.
It freaks me out to look people in the eye, its probably some kind of issue i have, who knows.

It used to be hard for me too. I had also the habit of always looking down when walking in order to see everything that could make me trip and fall. This habit made me extremely good at going up or down stairs very fast and, now, without looking. I have natural reflexes for every type of misplacement of my feet so that I don't fall even when I don't step on the right place.
Finally, after many years of walking while looking down, when I finally decided I'd walk looking in the distance it was like discovering a new world. I had never seen the streets I went by each and every day in the way I was seeing them now. Every old and known place was now a new experience to be had.
Changing from avoiding eyes to looking into them is quite similar. You show your own emotions and feelings much more when looking in the eyes of someone, in the same way that you can much better understand the person you are talking to if you are looking into their eyes. It's a whole new world, terrifying but also wonderful.

If she's actually teaching then she shouldn't have time to stare at someone for more than three seconds. She should be busy thinking about what she has to say/teach next.

And I don't know what bedroom eyes are. My family haven't mocked my eyes yet, so no. I don't think there's anything funny with my eyes. (Family = complex diggers )

What you say makes sense, but I don't persistently try to look in the eyes of people (or at least I'm not aware of it). As a matter of fact, I'm the type who avoids eye contact when the conversation is not "serious" enough.
The eye contact happens occasionally when she faces my general direction. I believe that's normal and bound to happen if you are teaching a group of people that are actually paying attention. Of course I don't stare at her face the entire class either. Hell, whenever the professor faces some other way I tend to look out the window or wherever to let the info sink in or distract myself momentarily.
Also, I understand some other people being unable to make eye contact if they are shy/insecure etc. I've met my fair share and I don't have a problem with that. As I said before, I tend to avoid eye contact myself so you could say I'm shy when not engaged in serious stuff. This one is weird though. A shy professor? Wrong profession?
I'm taking this lightly, but it's annoying and uncomfortable. This is the only time in my life I've been so wary of how to look at people. Maybe I'll start timing my stares. Three seconds, then look away and smile~ lol
