Pokemon + 3DS - Sarah - 2011-03-27
Let's think of innovations that the 3DS could bring to Pokemon and then drool over how cool they would be.
First thing I thought of upon loading up Augmented Reality was how awesome it would be to be able to use that as a pokedex. And while I'd prefer not to own any pokemon cards, I think it would be a really neat way to approach it.

Catch pokemon with AR. Have them be in a ring and be all pokemon ranger on their ass. That's really all I can think of. I like the pokedex idea too. That'd be sweet, but wouldn't work for larger pogeys without having to distort them, or make all of them the same size.
I am a dumb but. Why couldn't I think of AR pokemon battles?

AR battle Arena.
Place AR card down have battle displayed in real life or have possible VS match against others with a card, E.G. place down 2 AR cards and with two 3DS have the camera display the battle including effecting the area. You could even have a possible real time pokemon match using the cards, the touchscreen for the attacks, and the other button for movement, restricted to w.e the AR decide as an arena (such as mountains, water, etc).
