Unless you think a 6970 is worth $80 more. No. Your money is better spent on other parts imo.

That would really be the only thing I'd upgrade. Wait for Bulldozer and upgrade your hard drive space. I recently bought one of these.

Hmmm what a coincidence, I'm also looking for a PC upgrade! Smile

- AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition AM3 (6 cores - 3,3Ghz) -> 200 euro
- Corsair XMS CMX8GX3M4A1600C9 4x 2GB = 8GB DDR3 -> 80 euro
- 2x Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1TB (2TB Raid-0) -> 140 euro
- Creative X-Fi Titanium OEM/Bulk -> 70 euro

- Cooler Master Storm Sniper Case -> 130 euro
- Cooler Master Silent Pro M1000 (1000 Watt PSU) -> 130 euro)

- Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 5500 Revolution - Mouse + Keyboard (100 euro)

--> Keep the motherboard (compatible)
--> Keep the videocard (new series are coming, don't buy now, do you even -need- a new one?)
--> Keep your monitor (unless you really hate it? Tongue)
--> Keep your headphones (Or get some epic BeyerDynamic DT770 Pro's, like me Tongue)

850 euro total, you choose! Tongue
