Found from Thai Failblog. Seriously, how could anyone type that root.

I've had those before. It's a math problem to solve. Either solve it or refresh it.

Your answer is A btw

Maybe the capcha wants to stop anybody who doesn't know moderately high level math? (It simplifies to ||A|| if anybody is wondering)
Still quite lol even if that's what they were going for...

EDIT: @ above, ||x|| is the norm of complex number x (unless I'm being stupid) so it should be assumed imo that in this case A^n, and therefor likely A, is complex as well.

So you mean they have to type in the answer?

Well, another level of bot catching. I thought you have to type in the equation.

all captcha only use one word, the other is a dummy. just type anything random for the dummy and then the real word.

reCAPTCHA uses one word which is known and another word which is not known (in order to help digitize books). You most likely only need to put in ghtiente correctly to proceed.

What? ||x|| means absolute value of x.

Pretty sure capital A is not a vector. Oh wait, can we even have vectors to polynomial powers? Doesn't seem to make sense. My Algebra is pineappleed up.

Easy. g ghtiente, Google doesn't even know what the first one is, so you can type anything and it'll think it's right. I dunno if it still works, but you used to be able to also just click the audio verification and type any letter 8 or 9 times consecutively and it'd think it's correct.

Assume A is vector/matrix related:

You cant have A ^ n (unless A is an m x m matrix), but this is ||A|| ^ n which is perfectly fine. ||A|| is the magnitude of A (which we assume is a vector), and the magnitude of A is just a number... nothing wrong with raising a number to the power of n.

This is ||A^n||, not ||A||^n. It's only the same thing when you consider A to be a number, no?

Captcha thread gone math. What the hell.

ho lols, guess I really am too sleepy atm.

||A^n|| is fine if A is a number, and might be fine if A is an m x m matrix. not sure what the magnitude of a matrix is... possibly the determinant? 0.o
