Green is +1 stats
Purple is +2 stats
Red is +3 stats

The removal of the word permanent is an extremely powerful indicator that they will in fact not be changed in any way. If the removal of said word was a mistake and they are in fact permanent, then while everything i just said will be reversed, they will be replaced by 3+ to all important stats for each class with +w/m.att face accessories that you can forge when chaos hits. So really, the event is useless either way.

It's not useless for the people that won't be able to get those face accessories when chaos comes. Besides, summer is 2 months away already and we don't even know what month Chaos is coming, just 'summer'.

How would they not be able to? Profession skills are a permanent addition and as far as i know, they are tradeable. (at least the lower leveled ones anyway)

2 months is more than enough leeway to accept that these masks will quickly be replaced and depending on the effort needed to obtain them, abandon them completely.
