Massacre of 4 and still wanting more... - Loose - 2011-03-01 From Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua (Mexico). In Spanish, but I translated it: Four people lost their lives after being shot down in the intersection of Plutarco Elias Calles Ave. & Ejercito Nacional Ave. Among the four victims was a woman and a 10 year old boy. The boy was nearly decapitated because of the projectiles from the high powered weapons. Two survivors were taken to the General Hospital IMSS of the Zone 35, located three kilometers from the scene. Witnesses indicate that an adolescent of around 14 years of age and a 5 year old boy were taken to the hospitos. Both have multiple wounds, some in the head that may be life threatening. The victims laid across a white Taurus vehicle. Initial information about this indicate that the victims' vehicle slowed down before a van that was carrying armed men got close to them and shot them with one or several large weapons. But wait, there's more... An armed group entered the General Hospital IMSS of the Zone 35, in which they fired their weapons, causing panic among the patients and the medical staff. It seems that they were looking for the teen that had been attacked in intersection of Plutarco Elias Calles Ave. & Ejercito Nacional Ave. Spokesmen from the IMSS & General State Prosecution(?), Rosendo Gaytan & Arturo Sandoval, respectively, confirmed that a group of armed men entered the hospital and said that the delinquents fired their weapons. Unofficially it's been said that the assassins were looking for the teen that had been recently attacked. Initial versions indicate that at around 16:00, a group barged into the hospital, and around the laboratory area, started firing before escaping through the Emergency section after walking by many hallways and causing panic to the patients and medical staff in the vicinity. The institute was closed down for almost an hour after, all the entrances were locked down and a red alert was announced until the hospital was secured by federal and municipal agents. Massacre of 4 and still wanting more... - kanevaldier - 2011-03-01 That is out of control. I bet they have not even caught these guys or even gone after them. I dont know how many times a camera would have caught them but I am sure at least one would have seen them. It's not just a couple of guys, it's a whole organization that's overpowering the city (the police, the army, the civilians). It's not a single case of horrible homicide, people are dying like that every day. Over the last 2 years, if I'm not mistaken. Massacre of 4 and still wanting more... - kanevaldier - 2011-03-01 Cant say I know the entire situation there because I dont. Though it sounds to me like this organization is in control of the government as well due to the fact that it isnt widely spoken about in the media here in the U.S. It really is a sad situation none the less. Sorry to here it is a daily issue though. Massacre of 4 and still wanting more... - Words - 2011-03-01 That sounds really bad. Where I live we have similar situations daily, although it's not THAT bad right now. In the 70s and 80s it was the same... or worse. Your country should do something to stop this soon, too bad they say it's an organization... if it was only one guy who had control of everything, partially solving the problem would be easier, like with Pablo Escobar. |
