I'm guessing she didn't even bother separating her lights from her darks, right? I'm sure you'll notice a box of brownies if you actually separated your clothes. This is assuming you don't have separate hampers for both, and it honestly doesn't seem that way.

Actually, US dollars don't have that much paper in them at all, and are perfectly fine being washed. It's mostly cotton, to remind us that this country was built on slaves.

That would be funny if it were the true reasoning why we use cotton.
If i remember correctly, I watched a segment on why our currency is the material it is. The narrator of the program said something along the lines of: there was a lot of trial and error to create a material that was rigid, didnt tear easily, and wouldnt disintegrate when wet. The current composition of the united states dollar bill is 25% linen and 75% cotton; red and blue synthetic fibers are distributed throughout the paper.
