DCing at Zakum/Other bosses - FailSauce - 2011-02-22
Lately, as I've gotten to the level, I've tried doing some zak runs. However, I DC without fail every single time. Some things:
- I don't DC at Pap
- I have DC'd at Nibelung
- When I DC at Zak, it's almost always around 15 minutes in
- The DCing always starts with disappearing sprites, in Zak's case the HP bar
- When I DC, all sound starts repeating itself very quickly and then everything stops. I then have to turn off the computer to get out - ctrl alt delete doesn't work.
I run Windows XP, but that's all I know. Whoever helps me, you're gonna have to be patient as I'm pretty awful with computers. No idea what my specs are and all that. I would try disabling my sound drivers, but I don't know how.

How to turn off your sound card drivers:
Start -> Control Panel -> Device Manager -> Look for something that mentions sound (like "Sound, video, and game controllers"); I forget the actual name on XP 'cause I'm on my Vista comp at the moment.
Find one that mentions sound or audio (the actual name depends on your sound card). Right click it and choose Disable. Then restart if it asks you to. If not, restart Maple.

There is no need to disable sounddriver, they fixed that particular bug. I would try to change Maples graphic settings, when ever the boss changes body, bring it down a step.

I know I'm running on the highest resolution in the game the new one that came out with BB 1024 x n . Max Graphic. I never touch my Gfx setting during a run. Running fine for zak, chaos zak, ht, pink bean. no prb at all.
I have xp with GameBooster running in the back. No Firefox no msn no aol just Gamebooster and Maple.
