It does not work with my 64 bit Windows 7 computer. I tried restarting, I tried installing Logitech's SetPoint thing. It refuses to work. Anything I can do?

When you plug in the keyboard, you may be notified of new hardware being installed by USB on your desktop. The USB port or cable could be damaged if nothing happens. Check if there are any lights on the keyboard, and see if they turn on at any point. Try plugging in the keyboard before booting the computer up, and testing it on another system to see if it works. SetPoint should have no effect on the usability of a keyboard, and the OS shouldn't either unless you have plug and play disable or something.

The first time I did it, the computer said it failed. The num lock light was on, though. Switched to caps lock later and then the function key was on. Now nothing's on.

Maybe the keyboard is usb 2.0, and you hook it up to a usb 1.0 port? Highly unlikely that the keyboard is usb 2.0 only though...

Laptop's a little over a year old, I doubt it has USB 1.0. The function light on the keyboard's on, but it won't respond to any keystrokes.
