Anyone know any good quality (in terms of voice input) headsets.

I saw these and they seem ok, but some of the reviews say the voice input isn't that good.

Looking for:
-Good Mic quality.
-No more then $50
-Mac compatible
-Prefer a USB instead of wireless

I'll probably ask a "MAC" forum as well but I figured I might get a quicker response form you guys.

Tritons?
I'm pretty sure they have those features. I've never spent more than 16 dollars on headphones/headsets though. lol.

I don't know if this will help you much, but it's a start! Smile

- Price Range 30~60 Euro (21 products)
- USB Connection
- No idea if these work on Mac's (usb <-> drivers?)
- Everything above 30 Euro from an A-brand has a good quality mic

Are you going to be gaming with them or just for everyday use?

I think Turtle Beach headsets are around the 50 dollar mark. Not sure if they are USB though. You won't find many good quality headsets for 50 bucks.

Edit: I take that back. Steelseries. I have had a Siberia v2 for about a year and they are still as good as new. And the mic on these are retractable, so you can wear them around outside if you want.

More for making live commentary on LP's.

Yea, I highly recommend the SteelSeries. They're great for PC gamers and I personally have the 4XB that I use for the 360. Very comfortable for gaming and music.

I personally recommend Astros either the A40s or the A30s, but those are out of your price range. I absolutely love my A30s. They just look amazing and function so well. And, it's a simple matter of pulling them out and connecting them to either my computer, DS, music player, etc.

I know a few commentators that use this for commentating, but that is going to set you back $100. The 3H USB seems like a solid choice for under $50 from SteelSeries.

If anyone is curious, I went with these.
I saw a test done with them and liked the results.

Turtle Beach has good products! Smile

I just hope the usb thing works for your Mac (drivers, etc), please can you post if it does, I just like to know! Tongue
Oh wait, it uses normal 3.5m jacks and only needs the usb to power the sound processing. NVM! Smile
