Venom duration - rhpot03 - 2011-02-13
My venomous stab is at level 20 and I just noticed that it still only lasts 3 seconds when it's supposed to be 6 seconds according to the skill table. Does anyone have venom 30 and can tell me how long it currently lasts?

i believe that DoT skills are glitched in GMS for some reason or another. which is why Venom and other stuff like it is pretty lame.

Yeah it's kind of broken. Doesn't really matter though - when training, monsters you attack won't survive more than 3 seconds anyway. When bossing, you'll probably poison the boss again as soon as the 3 seconds is up.

I know the duration is borked for F/P mages, but the ingame data seems to say otherwise for Venom.

3 seconds is probably intentional then. The 6 seconds on the data table is probably leftover unused data.
