I play one that has pretty great GMs, nice and friendly, they even remember individual users, play fun games with the players, joke around with them, etc.

I guess people get so used to shitty staff for Maple Story they forget that there are other companies with staff that aren't -rarer to see than Jesus- and have -personalities-.

Well, WoW IS a p2p game; if they have pomegranatety GMs, they'll lose their entire damn player base.

@-Ghost-: I've played MMOs other than Maplestory...but haven't really found any with awesome GMs.

i played a WoW pserver that had better gms than maple... Rolleyes

Just because maple is f2p, it doesnt mean people don't spend money with the game. theres no excuse for poor customer service, microsoft give free customer support to everyone, even if you have pirated windows.

I still remember that day on maple, we were doing a HT run, and some GM appeared and disappeared, so we started to say things like: omg miracle a gm, they dont exist, the gm instead of joke with us, dced half of the HT squad, hell yeah Rolleyes

Being F2P definitely isn't an excuse for crappy GMs.

The company I was talking about is F2P and they're a bunch of lulzors and appear in-game and such multiple times every week, and they've been this way for basically 5 years or so.

I never said it was a valid excuse, and neither do I condone their actions. I just said that, because WoW is P2P, all the more the WoW staff have to be able to engage the players and provide the best customer service possible. F2P games, on the other hand, are not really under any such obligation, especially not to players who spend absolutely nothing on the game. Of course, I agree that they really should provide better customer service than they currently do, but you really do get what you pay for; if the game is free, don't expect too much from the staff.

On topic: Those GMs really don't have anything better to do, do they?

I can't say for myself, but my friend who's played different games by different P2P companies usually finds that their service is garbage.

When it comes to good service it's honestly just either the company has it or it doesn't, doesn't matter if it's F2P or P2P.
