Oh, I actually ate the snails. It's pretty similar to mussels if you ever ate one.

Anyway, I came here to france and I'm even learning to cook! It's so nice to go to the supermarket by myself and choose what I'm eating for the next days =D

As it is I've never tried mussels and don't have any intention on trying them.

Yesterday I made beef with shiitake mushrooms cooked with shoyo, rice as a side.

But it's mostly basic cooking... making rice, pasta, etc along with sauces or some meat to accompany.

Try oyster mushrooms, they taste like scallops when you cook them right.
